    1. Thank you, Minelle! SPUD, SPUD... No, I'm afraid I don't! I remember the "commercial" for SPUD Beer-- "made from potatoes, for people who can't tell the difference!"-- from the first season of SNL!

    2. I remember whomever lost the game of SPUD would go through the spanking machine. Ever kid lined up with legs spread and the loser crawled between each leg and was swatted!

  2. We used to play a game called donkey where the loser had to crawl through the paddy wagon-which is what we called it. I have vague memories of my parents, aunts and uncles playing that.

    I like the cartoon, Wolfie, I wonder what other kids games we could make more interesting. ;-)
