There's a lot of "social media" I don't bother with-- Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Etc., Etc., Etc.-- for lack of interest and/or time spent pursuing other things. Hey, I don't even have a cell phone! I do have indoor plumbing, but no cell phone.
And yes, as you mentioned, their "propriety policies" are very haphazardly enforced, I suspect because there's just too much to patrol unless there's a complaint that might wind up costing them money or their reputation, which could lead to loss of revenue.
So I really don't take it personally, although I might if it had cost ME money!
Thanks very much for your remark!!Dave Wolfehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11417833347179495042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488395583039755264.post-64177912546198075752017-10-14T08:48:41.506-05:002017-10-14T08:48:41.506-05:00I had the same issue, I saved loads of pins and up...I had the same issue, I saved loads of pins and uploaded some of my own but all my boards were set to private so nobody could see them bar me. That was not good enough. I pushed back to Pinterest but they were non apologetic and annoyingly could not show me the pins that they disapproved of. Basically a lottery and I don't use it any more. Like you I found I could find much more explicit pins on other boards that didn't get suspended. As I indicated, I can understand them wanting to protect themselves from expensive and bothersome litigation and bad publicity from irate parents and bored prudes, but that requires strict and equal enforcement, involving a lot of time and people, and therefore, money.
And thanks too, for your praise and protective stance for my cartoonery. No one has gotten away with much regarding them!Dave Wolfehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11417833347179495042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488395583039755264.post-10060205364604040602017-10-12T17:44:08.517-05:002017-10-12T17:44:08.517-05:00Well, thank you, Loki. If so, they should put it back. Which is funny given how the search paremeters are used.

I am glad that you rammed that hypocrisy right back down their throats! I think the copyright removal should be taken more seriously.
