Another Love 'Toon!

So what is a good movie for Valentine's Day?  Might I perversely suggest "The Bride of Frankenstein?"  Well, I will anyway, 'cause it's a damn fine pic! James Whale rocks!

And, in that light, I'll post a WolfieToon from "Discipline & Desire" using two of the main characters.  You've seen the one I did for Halloween, which in many ways is better, but I still think this is one of my funniest gags.  Apparently I'm in the minority in that opinion, but what the hey!  :-D

And if you didn't already click on the "Discipline & Desire" link, there are more Valentime Goodies there, too!

  1. Great WolfieToon, DW. I've never seen this one but I agree that it ranks high on the hilarity scale. Was this the forerunner of LMAO?

And James Whale does rock as this and the original 'Frankenstein' are classics, and don't forget he also directed 'The Invisible Man' with Claude Raines.

Love your askew view of things as this would be a great Valentine's Day movie.

  4. LOL Well, Kaki, it seems her butt may have been on wrong to begin with. But the rest of the story is, they didn't make her run after it herself, and all's well that ends well with a good end.

And on that note, dd, you'll notice from this week's D&D cartoon
that the ONE activity does not preclude the OTHERS-- and fret not, you can see how it all wound up here! The moral is, spanks equal sparks!

Yep, Mike, Whale did those, and more, including the first sound version of "Showboat," which was better in a lot of ways than the one in technicolor later! (Now why someone would want to so a silent movie of a Broadway musical, I don't know-- but someone did!) Glad you enjoyed the 'toon too, thanks!!

  6. Dave, this is a great plan. There have been oodles of times when I wished to remove my bum when I am being spanked.
Let me know when you have a workable prototype please.

  8. Aw, shucks, Veronica-- thank YOU! I'm very glad you enjoy 'em!

Hiya, Poppy! Thank you; the actual development for this project began when my erstwhile roommate's brother told him on the phone, "I'm coming over there to kick your butt!" to which he answered, "Fine; I'll leave it out on the doorstep for ya!" I don't know what progress he's made since, because I haven't seen his ass in thirty years. I will keep you apprised!

  10. Well, yeah, Jade, what's up with that? You could wind up sitting in the corner--or, 'scuse me, I mean, STANDING in the corner! Always very good to see you, Sweetie, and thank you, I'm glad you got many giggles from the cartoon! Furry hugs right back!

  12. Oh Wolfie! Did I ever mention that my Dad was a professional poker player? Yup.. his best claim to fame was 14th at the World Championships... and yes.. guess who's first born daughter did not do the tradition thang at her wedding reception way back hundred years ago? That would be me! I set up poker tables at my reception.. guests would play with dollar bills.. and the money they lost went into the honeymoon coffer.. of course, I made sure that each guest that sat down to play was gonna leave with a gift. Naturally that was a deck of cards with names and wedding date on them.

..that marriage was a gamble too.. LOL.. suffice to say.. the odds weren't in my favor that day.. but I came out of it without losing my "ass".. LOL

  14. CONGRATS ON BEING CHROSSED DAVE!!!!!

  15. Thank you, Zelle, I hadn't seen Chross's list yet! That's terrific! So your Dad was Brett Maverick?! Too cool!! As to the other, well-- every hand's a winner, and every hand's a loser... but I think you've come out a lot better than breaking even!

Hi, Dev!! Thanks for the heads up! Yep, that's Stan! He has several WolfieToons translated into French, and some of Zelle's blogs, and lots of other stuff! He's a fine artist himself, and always makes sure the work he highlights on "Au Fil des Jours" goes back to the original source! Isn't it great that spanking goodness is shared the world 'round?!

  17. hehe :-))

excellent illo/had never seen this one before. You know, spanking someone's butt off is always something we Tops must concern ourselves with. As butt re-attachment can be difficult.

  19. Well isn't that a great thing! Dave's blog is the only cherry-flavored thing I really enjoy! Not too tart, no too sweet! It's goood readin'! :-D

And NOW, Mike, everyone should go get great grins from your first installment of TOP LOGICAL MAN! (Cue cool electric guitar theme!)
