Don't Kill The Cook, Kiss The Piano Player

This may be a WolfieBlog Summer Rerun;  but if so, there's somebody hasn't seen it, so here's a "DISCIPLINE & DESIRE" cartoon from six hot summers ago:

The original lines, by the way, were:

"You gave Uncle Albert a heart attack!"

"I'm so sorry, Uncle Albert!"

But the Powers That Be said we hadda change it because that implied something incestuous.

Anyway, I thought it would be a good way to beak in the season here!

  1. I never would have thought incest. I think Paul McCartney would get a kick out of the 'toon though.

She could probably use some Noxema on her exposed area now.

    1. Noxema!! Haven't thought of that stuff in years, Kaki!

Say, didn't Sir Paul become annoyed, incensed and peeved when a posed spanking photo of his second wife was circulating? She had been a model?

Thanks much, glad ya like the 'toon!!

  2. Gave me a good laugh. And uncle wouldn't have bothered me. There is always some odd uncle in the family.

    1. Thank you, Blondie! Yeah, there'd be a difference between Funny "Uncle Wolfie" and "Funny Uncle" Wolfie!!

  3. Hey, Dave, I never heard of that so I took a look. Here is a link to a rather tame photo; there are some more 'revealing' photos of her.

    1. Thanks, Kaki! Yep, that's the one. I never cared enough to check and see if that was a fake or something she had actually done!

    2. Say, I wonder what she's doing now? If her settlement needs some augmentation, I know some people taking pictures...

  4. Summer has finally ended in Sydney, Australia, just in time for winter.

    1. Hi, John! Winter already, yikes! Y'know, I never think about conditions on the other side of the equator from me! I hope your summer was a good one-- and I very much appreciate the comment!

  5. It was a murderous time for bushfires. A friend of mine who lives in the lower Blue Mountains lost his house, every house on his side of his street was destroyed.

    1. That's horrible, John, and I'm sorry to hear it! I hope people stepped up to aid your friend and the others who lost their homes and possessions!

  6. Fortunately he was insured. Inconvenienced but house & contents replaced.
State government & charities helped uninsured people.

    1. Glad to hear it, John-- that is sort of the way things are supposed to work when life's unavoidable tragedies hit.

  7. Good ol' Albert's line is somewhat reminiscent of a scene from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"....sadly, the movie only talked a little about spanking, and never showed it. Hmmm....how about, "Bring out your brats?"
