DeleteHe was partly D&D's one-time owner and editor Reesa Robert's idea; I had done a cartoon with a woman enjoying her OTK experience too much, with the Top musing that it was failing as a disciplinary effort. Reesa said I needed someone to pop in with, "Then use the paddle, dumbass!" So it became Paddle Cat!
