Thanks much, Red! That song always reminds me of my high school girlfriend. The gal in the picture was based on my college girlfriend The cat is based on a true story and only the names were changed to protect the innocent.

Thanks, Thanks, Carl! I agree, that polka-dot pretty has to be one of my all time favorite pin-up type photos! I never liked the blatant, angry, nasty kind, anyway!
DeleteIn the latter days of "Discipline & Desire," when that cartoon originally appeared, my editor had me tone down bright red colors and not bare so many bottoms because our web-host was raising a fuss, and Ye Ed didn't want to lose the site and the dough all of us were making from it. It wasn't all that much, by the way, but it certainly helped, and gave us a creative outlet, besides! Funny thing is, that web-host also had a bunch of much more explicit "adult" sites that weren't being told to cool things down. Probably because they were making more money than "D&D" was.
And confidentially, I liked the cat best, too!!
