And returned periodically.
There was a variant in his last appearance to date, in February of 2015:
Although the recent missions of Paddle Cat have not been documented, he is still abroad, straightening the synapses of tangled Tops, and bringing Truth, Justice, and Joy, to say nothing of a really good sting, to beleaguered Bottoms everywhere!
These spanker deserve to be called 'dumbass'if they start a spanking without the paddle close at hand.

Good question, Glen'! There are lots of stories, including one that they are manufactured from the finest hand-embossed peach pits by a subsidiary of the Easter Bunny supplier in far away places with strange-sounding names. But who knows for sure?
