The Paddling Pooka!

Here's a cartoon that's now old enough to drive, but I don't think I've ever had it up here before.

If you've never seen the 1950 movie version of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Mary Chase, this will be rather odd.

If you have seen any version of the play or movie, this will be rather odd.

It's called "Harvey."

  1. I love the original Harvey film with James Stewart , and a little bit of spanking would have made it even better !

    1. I'd agree, Glen', depending upon the Spankee! :-D
I will always see Elwood P. Dowd as Jimmy Stewart, but some other notables who have taken on the role include Harry Anderson, Jim Parsons, Donald O'Conner, Art Carney, and Joe E. Brown! Wikipedia says the original Broadway star was a Vaudevillian of some repute back then named Frank Fay; he was in some movies I've never seen.

    2. Myrtle Mae would be a perfect spankee!
Too bad Jimmy Stewart wasn't a spanker. He should have spanked Grace Kelly in Rear Window.
