Imprinting, Or, "What's All This About Rabbits, Then, Doc?!"

Remember a time, possibly before the InterWeb appeared, when you felt all alone in This Thing We Do?  One of the first long discussions I had with people here was trying to figure out, by Nature or Nurture, why such a silly thing as adult spanking could be so erotically charged.  We came to conclusions good enough, but one of the things that came up was how we might have been "imprinted" as Little Dudes Figuring Things Out.

It can be a complex mater, but I do tend to think that exposure to such images as these must have had some effect...

See?

                                                                  Oh, Hello!!

Well, in any case, we certainly would have had our particular proclivities revealed to us!

  2. The first time I saw the picture of the boy holding up the girls skirt, it was captioned, "Early Bill Clinton".

  4. It reminds me of the cocktail party phenomenon where one can pick out one's name amongst thousands of words when we are not aware we can hear any one of them.
I remember being far too young to know anything about desire or anything at all but being drawn over and over to comics where the girl got spanked. But I am not a visual person and so my interest was quickly exchanged to written books and I think it rested there.
Bunnies, drawn bunnies, have every ounce of sexuality and cute, in perfect balance. If I could be a bunny like that I would do so in a heartbeat as long as I could find a big strong huntsman to keep me safe.
Curses. I am going to spend the whole day wanting a scut now. I have some knickers with one on, that will have to do. I will show Dev when he wakes up. I hope he smiles.

  5. Poppy, your delightful company is fun and educational! Not only did I just see the best description of "Tea" at your blog (And Devlin's Too!) but now we all know, who never used the word before, that a "scut" is "a short, erect tail." As in a bunny tail.

Jade, I'm very sorry to hear about your kitty; he must have been a fine companion indeed, sharing lots of your life, secrets, laughter, and tears. May his memory bring you comfort after the pain subsides. I hope your cold is better, too, and I'm glad I could bring you a smile in all of that!

Now that you mention it, B&B, that young fella does bear a resemblance to the Secretary of State's husband!

Thanks, NJ! I believe I'll post another Easter-themed WolfieToon!
