They don't have cartoons on Saturday mornings any more, do they? Not that that matters, with all-cartoon TV channels, DVD's, the Interweb, and so on and so forth.
But for any of you who might miss that tradition, wrap a paper towel around your hot, lip-burning Pop-Tart, keep your toxically-sugared cereal in the bowl and off the carpet, and enjoy the WolfieToons!
Starting with Hat Trick, the magical bunny!

Here Comes Paddle-Cat To the Rescue!
Do not attempt adjust your television set, this one actually IS black-and-white, but the characters are colorful! Boop gets bopped!
EEK! It's a MOUSE!!
I really enjoy your artwork! In regard to the first drawing, I was wondering if her name 'Vulnavia' was in relation to the female assistant to Actor Vincent Price in his 'Dr. Phibes' movies. Now she was Spankable!
ReplyDeleteThe duck comes down and you win a hundred no-dollars, Blilen! You're the first person (who has said so) to get that reference!
DeleteThe "Phibes" movies are among my favorites-- such style, class, wit, and cleverness from all involved! Truthfully, though, I do like the first better than the second. Therefore, I lifted the name for a magician's assistant!
I'm very happy you enjoy my cartooning, thank you very much!
Only a 'hundred' no-dollars?! I turned the big 6-0 four days ago! Couldn't you at least double it since I also get the 'Duck' reference too?! (LOL) Have a Happy New Year my friend!
DeleteWhy absolutely! And we'll give you and all the other Freedonia workers shorter hours, too! We'll start by cutting your lunch hour to twenty minutes!
DeleteWelcome to my side of that line, Happy Birthday and New Year, too!
Excellent. Love the classic look of black and white ...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your New Year

Red
Thanks, Red! Paddle Cat came from a suggestion by my wonderful former editor, Reesa Roberts, and then showed up in several WolfieToons!
DeletePaddle car awesome. So is Minnie getting her panty warmed.
ReplyDeleteLike most of us I used to pick thru the comics growing up for spankings
Thanks
Ron
And wasn't it a jolly surprise to find one, Ron>
DeleteFor a while, the comic book buying guides listed issues with spanking panels and then stopped! Fortunately, most of those are on the Web and show up in places like "SPK Comics!"
