Bears Investigating!

When I did this piece of whimsy for "Discipline & Desire" in 2011, I thought it was uniquely quirky!

Then in October of 2014, NBC put up this station break card when Sarah Silverman hosted SNL!

Now that could be coincidence;  it could be that Sarah's a WolfieToon fan; or it could be there is something else going on!

'Cause, look at all this!!

Did the book "The Lonely Doll" reveal their predilection to these women in their kidhood, and is therefore still a powerful trigger today?

They must all relish the idea of someone big, strong, furry, and very cuddly taking them over his lap!

Does it have a name, like, "The Goldilocks Syndrome?"

Maye it's just Fun and Funny!!

So-- if YOU go into the woods today, you're in for a BIG surprise!!

    1. You're welcome, Rick! Say, I wonder if there's a Spanked By A Giant Teddy Bear Specialty Website? I'd better look!

  2. Thanks Dave! I'm not sure I understand the connection between Bears and spanking but it all looks like good fun !

    1. There may be someone, Glen', who could explain the psychology. I may have come close with my guess about something (someone) big and powerful and also caring and protective. And furry. Most women I know seem to like fur! Bears might epitomize the "safe danger" of a sensuous bottom-smacking. Or maybe, like you said, it's all just silly fun!

  3. So you're sayin', all that money I spent trying to win the huge Teddy at the carnival for my girl was really so IT would get to spank her instead of me??? Sheesh...

    1. Oh, I'm sure it wouldn't cut you out at all, Anon. In fact, there might be a Reason To Spank in there!

  4. You won't go down to the woods today if you take my advice.
There's a strange man there with a great big stick, he isn't very nice.

    1. Ha! Nicely done, John.
He does have a great big stick, but he speaks softly.

  5. Hi! Dave, I saw the post about 77 Sunset strip, when we play bingo here and we get number 77 called we all sing the chorus just to wake us up, we also sing 76 trombones in the big parade. and cornets coming up behind. Bye for now, Jenny.

    1. I break into that tune every time the number "77" comes up on anything, too, Jenny! Love that tune! That detective show was a big hit on TV wh3en I was a kid, but I've never really seen an episode all the way through! And, naturally, "The Music Man" influences me, too!
