    Thanks, Zelle, Mike! Glad you enjoyed the article! I came across that link at the International Team of Comics Historians (Super I.T.C.H.!) website; sort of the Chross of the comics world!

    I was hoping the article would have some actual information about Steve Ditko and Bettie Page, instead of merely a passing mention. But it did have that glorious Bettie picture above!

    And I do recommend, if you haven't seen it yet, the bio-pic they did a couple of years back, "The Notorious Bettie Page!" Find it at Netflix or at Blockbuster, if they're still in business near you!

    hi wolfie,

    this was an interesting read. they were talking about various spanking artists at csr this week and i commented there how i'm constantly amazed by your knowledge of artists and comics. i guess this is why. you've obviously read a lot about all this and continue searching out more history on these artists. anyway, this was pretty interesting as i have a bunch of stanton spanking toons in my collection. thanks for posting this. phil
