When I did this cartoon, called "Caught," five years ago--
I didn't know it was a "thing!" Look what I've found on the web since!
(Hey, that's Drew Barrymore!!)
That last one is a possibly improved version of this page from "The Lonely Doll" by Dare Wright:
Now, I had done Bears spanking bottoms before--
(A woman in France at Stan/E's blog said the idea of that cartoon was good but the "design is particularly ugly"-- I don't really disagree, but I don't have to go and redraw it now, either! Ha!!)
--and I have seen bear bottoms getting spanked, too--
--but I didn't know teddy paddling was so ubiquitous an idea!
Any thoughts on that?
Ha! I think these are all so cute! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lilli! I think you've explained the appeal-- the cuteness factor!!
DeleteHi Wolfie -
ReplyDeleteCatching up on you posts.
Yes, that spanked by a bear is “a thing”, at least in what you reference in the first part of your post. I believe that most of those, not just the last image, are inspired by that book the Lonely Doll.
Best,
Enzo
Thanks, Enzo, they might have been! The bear business goes back further than "The Lonely Doll" publication date of '57; I have an old a newspaper strip around here somewhere in which a frazzle-haired brunette rag doll prankster is spanked by a bear, and tells her owner afterward that she's tied a pillow to her behind to "be in fashion like Buster Brown!"
DeleteThis is awesome. Thank you and love some of your usual panty focus.
ReplyDeleteRon
You're welcome, Ron, and thank you! Panties have always had my attention!!
DeleteThe spanked by the bear thing doesn't appeal to me. But your pictures are funny
ReplyDeleteNo bears, eh, Blondie? What about-- wolfies? Heh, heh heh! Nah, I know what you mean, and thank you for the compliment!!
DeleteIf I saw my gf in that position, I would just say, "why didn't you just ask me? I would be glad to give you a spanking." But, that is just me :)
ReplyDeleteHa! Yes, Nick, you're the second one to make a remark like that! Larken said this obtuse fellow shouldn't have been neglecting his lady so!
DeleteOh, and by an odd coincidence, I was just wondering yesterday if anyone was scrolling down for older posts on this blog! Thank you, Nick, and I'm glad you're enjoying 'em!
