(I spelled it that way on purpose, by the way. Some current commentaries insist that "elves" and "dwarves" are the proper plurals. But not THAT long ago, the dictionaries showed the correct plural was "dwarfs," as one can see by the 1937 Disney title, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." J.R.R. Tolkien, who, after all, was a philologist, noted that the proper plural of elf was "elfs," but he used "Elves" and "Dwarves" to distinguish his type from any other in "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings." Maybe the current "correct" spelling evolved from that? Class is now dismissed, except for you girls I spoke with earlier.)
Every year I enjoy the annual Wolfie Santa display, and this year is no exception. Thankfully the naughty list seems to be as full as it always is. Merry Christmas to you.
