A Musical Interlude From My Formative Years

Let's celebrate Spring with real dances from the 60's done at a hotel and casino that's been torn down with a guitar guy nobody knows!!

Here's Boby Vee doing an even older tune about Baby Faces,  because The Night Has A Thousand Eyes.

And now Nancy Sinatra and her girls prance in boots.  Wowsers!

And some girls hail a cab with flippy skirts.  They must think I'm driving.

(For cultural reference, I'm told "Scopitones" were 16mm films that played in a sort of video jukebox in nightclubs back in the Days of Yore.  I was around then, but they wouldn't have let me into the clubs.)

  1. What are these? Music (and girls, and boots) from the Olden Days, when you were a kid, DW? Wow, you must have dug into the archives for those! :-)

By the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DW! :-)

    1. You're very much younger than I, Larken, you probably wouldn't remember the Frug, the Mashed Potato, the Swim, the Monkey, or the Wild and Wicked Whacks, but I could teach you, especially that last one.

      Heh heh heh.

      And thank you very much!!

  3. Hiya

This is Emanuele from Cranky Spanker and I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your positive comments on my blog. I really thought that I was the only one obsessed with Diana Rigg in her harem outfit, after all when I first saw it it went by so quickly that my fertile imagination filled in a lot more than was there. If you had asked me back then I would have sworn that Mrs. Peel fine derriere was shown. I can still dream however.

    1. Hi, Emanuele, and thank you! Oh, I promise there are LOTS of us enamored of Dame Diana and her "Avengers" costumes! In fact, if anybody here missed it, they can click on the blue letters here to see your entry about "CLASSIC TV 1-SMACKERS!"

"The Avengers" was a brilliant show, cleverly conceived, written, acted, directed, photographed, et. al! Just like the stuff above, there is a lot from our 60's youth that should always be brought forth and enjoyed!

  4. I remember wearing mini dresses back in the day, but I don't remember having our panties being shown like that.

I remember my uncle asking my grandfather what he thought about the girls all wearing such short skirts. He smiled and said, I like it, I like it. ;-)

    1. Ah, and your grandfather spoke for all of us! A wise man, with impeccable taste!!

Say, you can still wear your mini-dress if you want, Kaki, that would A-OK with me!

I nearly failed by best subject-- English!-- in 8th grade because of a cute little blonde who sat up in the row beside me. She always wore mini-skirts that always showed just a tiny bit of pantied fanny while she sat! That was quite enough to arrest my attention, but besides that, I had to stay tuned to see if there might suddenly be more!!

Tsk, she needed a spanking, huh!
