  1. Great comic! I really like how you draw over the knee spankings and the way you shape the lady's spankable bottom. I also like your use of stars. Where do you get your ideas from and what is the process you use to make your drawings?

    1. Thanks, Anon! (Wish you'd signed a name so I could address you in a friendlier fashion!) I'm glad you enjoy the cartoons, and thanks for asking about how they come about!

I've been drawing since kidhood, and have also been keenly interested in female figures, especially their fannies, for about as long, and have studied them very carefully! :-D Likewise, erotic spanking is also a lifelong fascination!

My drawing technique is a fairly common one, learned from dozens and dozens of "how to draw cartoons and people" books and teachers. There are some pretty good ones on-line now, YouTube and all.

I start in pencil, with sort of stick-figure skeletons and basic shapes-- circles, ovals, triangles, rectangles, etc.-- building up the figures and other elements. I also use photos for reference. Perspective has always been a puzzle for me, that I sometimes solve. :-D

Then I go over the final drawing in ink, scan it into the computer, and color it with a "photo studio" program.

My son gave me a digital tablet, and one would use a similar process, using the stylus and layered screens instead of paper and pencil, but I haven't practiced with it enough yet.

For ten years I did a weekly drawing for the "Discipline & Desire" subscription story site (now gone), and it could be a challenge to come up with something new on a relatively limited topic! I always wanted to have fun with it.

It is a deliberate writing process. I enjoy puns and word play, and thought about situations that might relate to holidays, that sort of thing.

I have kept some samples of the process that I could re-post here later!

      Thanks again!

    2. I appreciate it, Messire, thank you very much! A lot of the stars of the best animated cartoons are my heroes and vicarious teachers, so I do try to get a lively feel in the drawings, and, of course, they had a part in the development of my sense of humor!

  3. Wolfie:

The toons have been great as usual and I particularly enjoyed Josie and Blondie. But any of your works with skirts up and panties on display are superb!!. I hesitated to write this message because I did not want it to appear as a request but hopefully rather as a suggestion. How about one of Fritz Ritz, Nancy's glamorous aunt. She always looked like she needed a good spanking but never received on in the strip. Add in your styling OTK, skirt up, and panties (pink) on display, and of course, your hilarious dialogue!! Wow!! What a classic!! I hesitated to mention this for some time because you are so generous with your work already; and believe me, I and I am sure many others are deeply appreciative. But being old and on fixed income, a commission is just out of the question. So again, just consider this as a suggestion rather than a request and thanks again for so much pleasure!!

    1. Hiya, Rick!
I wonder if you've ever seen the pictures from that LIFE magazine spread on the 1950 National Cartoonists Society meeting in which Ernie Bushmiller and a bunch of his cronies were drawing on and signing the swimsuits worn by a bevy of beauties? (If not, have a look HERE! )
I'm not sure why they were doing that, or what happened to the suits afterwards, but it certainly caught my imagination! (Just like the magazine photos of the makeup men painting decorations and slogans all over Goldie Hawn for her "Laugh-In" dancing film inserts! Drawing on women, I bet there's a Fetish Website for that!! :-D )
Anyway, your suggestion is a very good one! I never knew until the Web came around that MS Fritzi had been such a cheesecake icon, with that goofy-looking boyfriend of hers. Come to think of it, he looked a lot like Mr. Bushmiller himself!!
But by the time I ran into "Aunt Fritzi," she was a supporting spanker in the Nancy strip, frequently whacking her niece, and I don't know why it never occurred to me she would look pretty cute getting some OTK attention herself!!
Ernie's style was always kinda stiff, but that was part of its charm. I did like others better, though; for instance, Al Capp's swoopy brushstrokes for his curvaceous cuties always appealed to me more than Milton Caniff's scratchy-looking penlines, even on the Dragon Lady!
Meanwhile, back at the blog, I am in the middle of finishing a "vanilla" book cover for a friend that I started in October (!!), and there were a couple of other Wolfie efforts I had in mind before Summer's end; but the latter might take a back seat to Ritzi's seat-- we'll see!
As always, Rick, thanks for your kind interest, attention, encouragement, and remarks!!

    2. Ha! Well, as you can see, this idea was too good not to go ahead and do!! And if you drop me a line at dwolfeman 2002 @ yahoo .com, leaving out the spaces, I can send you the original size version!

    3. The beauty of blogs, this behind🙃-the- scenes stuff— the process and generosity of the bloggers (like you Wolfie), I love it all! I’m such a glutton for OTK (cartoons and irl) and love a good pun and hearing personal histories and how they shape people. Like I’ll never forget how hot and fun it was to read about your first experiences with spankings irl and to see some of your first drawings compared to today’s. Thank you again for sharing!

    4. Hello, Honeygirl!
Your nickname reminds me of this old Jimmie Rogers tune! It was a pop hit when I was just a year old! (Holey Socks, what an old song!! :-D )
Ah, you must have read that bit about the first time I spanked my first girlfriend! I got better at it!!
Thanks for the remarks here; since there are at least three of you who enjoy that kind of stuff, I may have to do that "How WolfieToons Come To Be" post I was thinking about!

    5. Ooh yes, I’d love to read that post! The ability to do a great and lively ‘toon is special, and you write so well too! Love what you do here, Wolfie!

    6. Ooh, and I just listened to that Honeycomb song—hadn’t heard it before but it’s a great one! Thanks.

    7. Why thank you again, Honeygirl! If you click on these blue letters, you can read the tale called "Another First!"
Jimmie Rodgers (I misspelled his name above!) had a lot of hits back in the late '50s and '60s you might want to check out if you don't already know them: "Kisses Sweeter Than Wine," "Uh-Oh, I'm Falling In Love Again," "Bimbombey," "Secretly," and even a version of "Waltzing Matilda!"
