And A-One, And A-Two...

Hey, look, it's the Band Director getting the kids at Practice all warmed up for the new school year!

No, wait, that's not it, after all... Except for the "warm-up" part.

You can have a peek at the new "Discipline & Desire" WolfieToon HERE!    Tidbits of the new stories and free chapters, too, of course!

Now, if the cartoon looks familiar, you may have seen the original sketch IN THIS POST!  I'll probably use others!

Sunday Funnies: Dan and Wolfie, Part Two

Hi, Gang!

The WolfieToon at "DISCIPLINE & DESIRE" this week is a comic cover!

I did this mainly to show off the spiffy seal of approval that Larken made after SuperToonMan, but it's also an homage to one of my cartoonist heroes, the late Dan DeCarlo, who. at the start of his career, did books for Timely/Atlas (later called Marvel) like "Sherry the Showgirl," "Millie the Model," "Nellie the Nurse," "Bettie the Botanist," and "Harriet the Homewrecker."

OK, I just made up "Bettie the Botanist."

Dan and writer/editor Stan Lee went on to have a short-run newspaper strip about mailman Willie Lumpkin!  (Hope it's legible with a click!)

(Just to tie up loose ends, Stan moved Willie to the big city, where he became the Fantastic Four's mailman and lived happily ever after.)

After that, Dan DeCarlo began a very long association with Archie Comics-- which, you may have heard, did not end well.  He did spectacular work there, though!

So, while working on all these other comics in the late fifties and early sixties, Dan earned some extra cash doing pin-up cartoons for publisher Martin Goodman's line of Men's Humor Mags.

In the book Innocence and Seduction  The Art of Dan DeCarlo,  Bill Morrison reports that Dan did five to ten of these a month, but to compensate for the low pay rate, editor Arthur Goodman (Martin's brother)  told Dan he could just turn in the drawings and Arthur would write the gags himself.

Which explains to me why such brilliant cartoons so often had remarkably weak or just plain awful captions.  Well, this first one's not so bad...

Wow, those are great cartoon buns!!  The joke's pretty fair, too.

But this one-- this one's gotta be the worst caption.  Ever.

What??  That doesn't even make sense with the 'toon.  Dan deserves better.  Here, lemme prime the pump with a couple of throw-away lines:

"Well, that's show biz!"

"It's 'Life Drawing!'  Take a crack at it!"

"And now, in other Nudes..."

Yeah, lame, but a lot better than "scaredy-cat!!"  Chee.  I invite better submissions!!

Anyway, every now and then, probably when Dan actually suggested the caption himself, they'd hit a homer.  This is my favorite of the spanking cartoons, and sure,  you've seen it before, but you just can't beat the Classics..

Let us hope her disappointment was short-lived.  Perhaps she hooked up with Popeye.

Say, Judy the Jewel Thief also reminds me of another Funnies Femme Fatale with a penchant for purloining pretties...

Ah, but she, and artwork by animator / producer Bruce Timm are subjects for another entry, or two!

It Sheer Makes You Wonder

Of the Knowing Grin this brunette has in the latest WolfieToon at "DISCIPLINE & DESIRE," my buddy PHIL says:

"it always seemed reasonable to me that a girl who gets spanked by her man would get a kick out of knowing that other girls do too :> smug."

That seems reasonable to me, too.

And arousing.

Do you ever wonder in a crowd what their stories might be?  I sometimes question who among them is a WolfieToon Fan.  We should have a code when we meet on the street.  I'll be the tall guy observing and sketching female rears.  Come up and draw a callipygian "W" in the sand or something.

But there are eight million stories in the Naked City.  In this WolfieToon, you'll notice a fella in a green polka-dot shirt who might possibly be the great grandson of Woozy Winks, Plastic Man's faithful companion.

And cartoonist Jack Cole, Plastic Man's daddy, went on to do cartoons for a new mag called "Playboy" like this:

So you see, we are all connected.

Hey, the stories at "D&D" this week are humdingers, too!

Pattin' Pending Panties

I noticed during the Wimbledon Women's Finals this weekend that White is still de rigueur for the outer wear, but panties / bike shorts are pink, black, and plaid.  OK, I didn't see plaid.

Did you know that if you Yahoo "tennis panties" you will find some interesting images?  I did.  I also found out there are WolfieToons on "Pinterest!"  Whodathunk!  I'm happy they please!

So here's a somewhat timely WolfieToon from  "DISCIPLINE & DESIRE" that's made its way on to the InterWebs:

This week's new "D & D" cartoon features some lovely sheer panties around a cute smacked bottom.  In fact, the cartoon before that had this patriotically striped seat!

And in the 'toon before that, maybe you can detect this picnicker's knickers.  ("VPL,"  as the kids say.)

This female is not wearing panties at all!

That fella really is getting some tail!!

Honey's Moon Keeps A-Shinin' In June

Here is detail from this week's WolfieToon at  "DISCIPLINE AND DESIRE" with warmest Wolfie wedding wishes for all the June Brides.

Here's a Musical Moment, too.

Just Guessing...

Now, I'm no Boston Blackie...

I'm no Columbo...

I'm no Monk...

But my perception is this girl has never worn a thong bikini before.

Ah, Home-Baked Buns! (Mystery Post)

Found that bit of wiseacrey in my computer files.  It's Wolfie  Fumetti,  but I have no idea what movie that was.  Looks like one I'd wanna see!

Most likely I'd had that up at the "Southern California Spanked Wives (And Girlfriends) Club" from the Days of Yore (And Mine).

Come to think of it, I don't really know the original source for those SCSWC title pages, either!  The first was an illustration for a magazine story-- "Collier's" comes to mind for some reason, but I could be all wet.  Seems I saw it with illegible copy once.

The second picture was floating around the Web years ago, but I don't know if it was a Big Name Magazine photo or one of those Cheap Men's Digest Tabloidy Things.

There are Experts at this sort of thing who peek in and might recognize these.  So if anyone does, she or he will be awarded a nifty No-Prize, just like the ones Marvel Comics used to give out in their letters columns, only shinier!

I Like Short Shorts!!

The WolfieToon at "DISCIPLINE AND DESIRE" this week features the cutest little yellow shorts!!

So since it's Summer (eh, more or less) let's cue the Royal Teens --

-- who will sing for you while you peruse Short Shorts from WolfieToons Past!

We'll start with THE very first thing I put on the Interwebs, before I had a scanner and barely knew my way around a PC!

Now, some cute ones from "D&D"!

Well, it occurs to me that maybe this post has appealed more to the guys so far... so here for the Ladies:

MEOWTCH!!

This is Paddle Cat-- P.C. for short.

He's in this week's WolfieToon at "DISCIPLINE AND DESIRE", and he's one of the rare repeating characters I've used.  I'm thinking of making Paddle Cat T-Shirts to sell.  He has one of the best catchphrases ever!

Y'know, I think most cats are actually spankophiles.

Consider their intelligence, sensuality and general cattitude.

Certainly cartoon kitties enjoy "TTWD!"

That's from cartoonist John Stanley's "Tom and Jerry" comic that you can read at "STANLEY STORIES", a terrific blog by Frank M. Young.  (Not to be confused with his cousin, Frank M. Stein.)

Richard Windsor also featured the full story AT HIS BLOG!

Naturally, cartoon kitty women will follow suit!  And, oh. how I love her suit.

(That's Poser art by Invidia, who featured a whole month of superhero spankings at her blog some years back!)

I hadn't seen that one before!  Nice job!

You do know, I suppose, that Anne Hathaway is the movies' new Catwoman.

Excuse me a moment while I react.

I'm going to imagine her in the scenes above while she cooperatively poses.
